Patricia Coelho recently took over the family coffee business from her father and now runs Santo Antonio with her son, Pedro, an agronomist who lives on the farm. Since selling her first specialty lot in 2018, Patricia has invested each year in quality and processing, steadily building the consistency and reputation of her coffees.

The farm’s altitude and landscape make it ideal for specialty coffee. Its terroir is shared with its neighbour, Guaspari, one of Brazil’s most acclaimed wineries, best known for its Syrah.

This is a classic Brazilian coffee - sweet and chocolatey, with gentle cherry fruitiness in the background accentuated by the natural processing.

This coffee comes to us through Bossa Coffee, a women-led importer based in London that specialises in sourcing from female producers, supporting regenerative agriculture and building direct, long-term relationships with the farms it works with.
