Finca San José Ocaña is a family-run farm located in the hills of San Juan Sacatepéquez, just outside Guatemala City. Owned by the Sánchez family for over a century, the farm sits at high elevation under shade trees, where cooler temperatures slow cherry development and help build sweetness and clarity in the cup.

This lot is a single-variety Red Bourbon, separated and processed on the farm’s own wet mill. After harvest, the cherries are pulped and dried with a portion of mucilage still attached. 

The result is a coffee that feels classic and reassuring, but still expressive: ripe berry notes, a vanilla-like creaminess, and a rounded body that works well across brew methods.
